Medical Research, Design, Regulation and Ethics

Provides an overview of ethics and regulation in research, clinical trial design, medical biostatistics and data management.

On completion of this module, learners will be able to:

1. Understand Good Clinical Practice, Ethics and Regulation in clinical research

2. Understand clinical trial principles including study design

3. Understand the core considerations of experimental / study design and data management

4. Understand common statistical approaches applied to data generated from clinical trials
