On completing this module students will be able to:

  • Identify the theoretical concepts which enable the design and analysis of supply chains.
  • Demonstrate the application of quantitative tools and techniques to analyse supply chain scenarios and to support decision making.
  • Critique the analytical results of supply chain scenario analysis with a view to improving supply chain management decision making competency.
  • Apply written communication through submission of case study and simulation reports.
  • Assess published academic and practitioner research related to supply chain design and analysis to support written reports.
