This micro-credential aims to give learners an overview of the underlying technologies and principles of operation of a range of commonly used medical devices, including (but not limited to) imaging systems, critical care devices and wearable sensors.

On completion of this micro-credential the learner will have a broad understanding of the ranges of medical devices used, their underlying operation, and how they integrate with Health IT systems, including areas of risk.
