Quantum computing exploits fundamental principles of quantum mechanics, such as superposition and entanglement, to tackle problems in mathematics, chemistry, and material science. These programmes are designed for professional learners to obtain a better understanding of the foundation of quantum computing and its applications with modules starting from basic principles of quantum mechanics to its particular applications in physics and computer sciences.
Familiarise students with the fundamental theoretical concepts in machine learning and applying machine learning algorithms.

Introduces the concept of quantum computing for students familiar with linear algebra and introductory quantum mechanics.
An initial crash course in Python programming ,familiarise learners with topics in the emerging field of Data Science through the medium of Python.
Introduces Quantum Mechanics in its modern mathematical setting.
Introduces key topics in high performance computing (HPC), including parallel programming.
The programme allows to build a focus either on the computational side of quantum engineering & computing and/or on the physics of quantum computing.
Explains and enhances the concept of quantum computing and quantum information.
This module will introduce learners to the mathematical structures underlying quantum computation, and will explore a variety of applications.
Key techniques in supervised machine learning will be covered, such as classification using decision trees and nearest neighbour algorithms, and regression analysis. A particular emphasis on the evaluation of the performance of these algorithms

These expectations mean that there often is a large disparity between reality and fanciful hype.Today, quantum machine learning models cannot out-perform their classical counterparts. However, we cannot say for how much longer this will be the case: quantum technology is advancing at a tremendous speed.
